Hatha Yoga

The term "Hatha" comes from the Sanskrit ha "sun" and ta "moon". Hatha yoga is the balance of the sun and moon energy that lies in all of us. Classes focus on breathing, proper body alignment as well as building strength and flexibility. This is an excellent class to learn the foundations of yoga in a safe and supportive environment.
Yin Yoga
Suitable for all levels.
Yin yoga blends traditional Hatha Yoga and Chinese Taoist yin yang philosophy. It is a slow-paced practice that targets your physical, mental and emotional well-being through deep stretching and breathing. Unlike most yang styles of yoga - which focus on stretching the muscles with shorter hold times - yin yoga reaches deeper into your body and mind.
Restorative Yoga
Suitable for all levels.
Restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses (asanas) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.
